Size It Up Game - Play Unlimited
Size It Up is a visual guessing game with five comparisons. Resize the red silhouette beside a blue reference, lock in your estimate, and reveal the true scale.
How to play Size It Up
- 01
Find your reference
The blue silhouette is your reference. Picture its real-world size, then read the dimension under the board to understand what the red silhouette should match.
- 02
Adjust the red silhouette
Drag the red silhouette to move it, pull its corner to resize, or use the slider below the board. The plus and minus buttons let you make smaller adjustments.
- 03
Reveal the actual size
Choose Lock In when the scale looks right. The game reveals the actual dimensions, shows your original guess, and awards up to 100 points for your accuracy.
- 04
Finish five comparisons
Complete all five rounds to see your score out of 500. Share the challenge with a friend, change editions, or choose New Game for another set of comparisons.
Three ways to test your sense of scale.
Classic brings 215 silhouettes of animals, everyday objects, vehicles, and landmarks. Compare familiar shapes and discover how surprising their sizes can be.
Pop Culture pairs 30 fictional characters with real-world references. Geography uses 60 country and landmass outlines, measured by their north–south span.
Another game whenever you like.
Play Size It Up unlimited with no daily reset or waiting period. Each new game brings five comparisons, and you can switch editions whenever you like.
Closer estimates earn more points.
Each comparison is worth up to 100 points, for 500 in total. Scores depend on relative size: a guess twice as large scores the same as one half the actual size.
Size It Up questions, answered.
What is Size It Up?
Size It Up is a size comparison game where you adjust a red silhouette against a blue reference. Guess its true scale, reveal the answer, and aim for 500.
Is Size It Up unlimited?
Yes. Start another five-round game whenever you like, with no daily limit or midnight reset. All three editions are free to play directly in your web browser.
How do I resize the silhouette?
Pull the corner handle, move the size slider, or use the plus and minus buttons. Dragging the silhouette moves it around the board without changing its size.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Use your phone browser to move and resize the red silhouette. You can pull its corner, use the slider, or pinch with two fingers to adjust your size guess.
Can I use a keyboard?
Use Tab to focus the size slider or the corner handle, then press the arrow keys to resize. You can also reach the plus, minus, and Lock In buttons with Tab.
What is the highest possible score?
A perfect game earns 500 points across five rounds. Each exact size match gives 100 points, with fewer points as your guess moves further from the true scale.
Is there a time limit?
There is no countdown in Size It Up. Take time to compare the silhouettes, try a few adjustments, and choose Lock In when you are ready to reveal the answer.
What does Geography compare?
Geography compares each outline by its approximate north–south span, not its land area. Read the dimension below the board before deciding how large to make it.
How does Pop Culture work?
Pop Culture uses fictional characters as targets and real-world objects as references. Heights follow the character or version shown; other versions may vary.
Are the measurements exact?
Animals and everyday objects use representative dimensions, while landmarks use stated measurements. Real examples can vary; the reveal shows the value used.
Can a friend play the same challenge?
Choose Share game to copy a link with a game ID, edition, and catalog version. Your friend gets matching comparisons and starting sizes, and their own guesses.
Does the game save my progress?
Progress for up to 25 games and your best score in each edition stay in this browser. Open the same game link to continue; clearing site data removes saves.
Why are there two red silhouettes after a guess?
The reveal keeps an outline of your guess beside the actual silhouette. Compare the two to see if you went too big or too small, then move to the next round.
What if the objects do not fit on the board?
Use zoom buttons while guessing to give the silhouettes more room. After the reveal, choose Fit both to bring the reference, actual size, and guess into view.
Is this the original Magnitudle game?
This independent unlimited size game is inspired by Magnitudle. It has Classic, Pop Culture, and Geography editions and differs from the daily puzzle.
A little perspective goes a long way.
Size It Up combines familiar shapes with surprising dimensions. Try a different edition, compare your results, and build a better sense of scale with each game.
Real-world sizes use typical dimensions or stated measurements. Country outlines come from Natural Earth; fictional heights refer to the depicted character or version.
This independent game takes inspiration from Magnitudle’s Size It Up. If a measurement or silhouette looks wrong, send us the edition, game ID, and object name.
